Back in the day, when the skate scene in Cebu was still new & the internet was not so popular and skate videos came best in VHS ,the only source to be inspired to skate was Transworld Magazine. It was like our bible. Read secretly in class and even while answering nature’s call in the toilet seat. So rare then that at some point, we even had to reserve them in magazine shops ‘coz they’d always run out. After buying one, it’d later be passed on from skater to the next until it reaches back to you with missing& torn pages. We never realized it but there existed a specific type of social networking only shared by skaters, of the many – hated “posers”.  We loved to skate ’til one day, our girlfriends asked us to choose between them and our skateboard ( Sorry girls, we still love you. ) Those were the days. 10 years has passed since we thought the world would end and millions of kickflips later, we’re still here storming the cities and growing at a pace faster than we’ve ever imagined. Rhipstop was, is and will always be built by skateboarding. Skateboarding is like fashion, a necessity. Skateboarding is, for us, forever.
